Task Force has a unique style of shooting inspired by classic third-person games. More recent third-person shooters tend to only make use of camera kick while keeping the crosshair relatively centered. Instead our game uses a crosshair kick while only vibrating the camera.
Expanding crosshairs provide a sense of weapon inaccuracy which is affected by recoil, stance, movement, and a few other factors. Certain weapons can also be toggled between single, burst, and automatic firing modes.
This unique style of shooting is not only fun with a mouse and keyboard but provides a natural style of aiming when using a controller. It rewards bursting by keeping tighter shots more precise while still allowing for accurate spray.
